Adultery - Unacceptable in islam

According to Islam, adultery is a violation of a marital contract and one of the major sins. In Islam; adultery includes both pre-marital and extramarital sex. Fornication and adultery are both included in the Arabic word ''Zina''. As they belong primarily to the same category of crimes, entail the same social implications and have the same effects on the spiritual personality of a human being, both, in principle, have been given the same status by the Qur''an.The Prophet Muhammad (s)had stated that the punishment of stoning to death is perscribed for a married person."Do not go near to adultery. Surely it is a shameful deed and evil, opening roads (to other evils)"(Quran 17:32).
"Say, ''Verily, my Lord has prohibited the shameful deeds, be it open or secret, sins and trespasses against the truth and reason"'' (Quran 7:33).
"Women impure are for men impure, and men impure are for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity." (Quran 24:26)
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) has said in many places that adultery is one of the three major sins. However, the most interesting story is that of a young man who went to the Prophet. This man asked for permission to fornicate because he could not control himself. The Prophet dealt with him with reasoning and asked him if he would approve of someone else having illegal sex with his mother, sister, daughter, or wife. Each time the man said 'no'. Then the Prophet replied that the woman with whom you plan to have sex is also somebody's mother, sister, daughter, or wife. The man understood and repented. The Prophet prayed for his forgiveness.

The dress code both for men and women is to protect them from temptation and desires by on lookers who may lose self-control and fall into sin. "Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that will make for greater purity, and God is well acquainted with all they do. And say to the believing woman that they should lower their gaze, and guard their modesty."(Quran 24:30-3 1)

The Noble Qur'an 24:30
...Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

Hadith - Al-Bukhari Book 25, No. 5403
Some persons from Banu Hisham entered the house of Asma' daughter of Umays when AbuBakr also entered (and she was at that time his wife). He (AbuBakr) saw it and disapproved of it and he made a mention of that to Allah's Messenger (saaws) and said: I did not see but good only (in my wife). Thereupon Allah's Messenger Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said: Verily Allah has made her immune from all this. Then Allah's Messenger Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him stood on the pulpit and said: After this day no man should enter the house of another person in his absence, but only when he is accompanied by one person or two persons.

Al-Tirmidhi 3118, Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab , Tirmidhi transmitted it
The Prophet (saaws) said, "Whenever a man is alone with a woman the Devil makes a third."

The Noble Qur'an 33:60-61
If the HYPOCRITES, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for ADULTERY, etc.), and those who spread FALSE NEWS among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you OVERPOWER them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter.

Accusing a Woman of Adultery
The Noble Qur'an An-Nur 24:2-9
2. The woman and the man guilty of illegal sexual intercourse, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. (This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime but if married persons commit it, the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allâh's Law).
3. The adulterer marries not but an adulteress or a Mushrikah and the adulteress none marries her except an adulterer or a Muskrik [and that means that the man who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan or idolatress) or a prostitute, then surely he is either an adulterer, or a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater, etc.) And the woman who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater) or an adulterer, then she is either a prostitute or a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan, or idolatress, etc.)]. Such a thing is forbidden to the believers (of Islâmic Monotheism).
4. And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever, they indeed are the Fâsiqûn (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).
5. Except those who repent thereafter and do righteous deeds, (for such) verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
6. And for those who accuse their wives, but have no witnesses except themselves, let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies (i.e. testifies four times) by Allâh that he is one of those who speak the truth.
7. And the fifth (testimony) (should be) the invoking of the Curse of Allâh on him if he be of those who tell a lie (against her).
8. But it shall avert the punishment (of stoning to death) from her, if she bears witness four times by Allâh, that he (her husband) is telling a lie.
9. And the fifth (testimony) should be that the Wrath of Allâh be upon her if he (her husband) speaks the truth.

Hadith - Sahih Muslim #3564, Narrated Abdullah
On Friday night we were staying in the mosque when one of the Ansar came there and said: If someone finds his wife with a man, and he speaks about it, you lash him, and if he kills, you kill him, and if he keeps quiet, he has to consume his anger. By Allah, I shall definitely ask about him from Allah's Messenger Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. On the following day he came to Allah's Messenger Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and asked him thus: If a man were to find a man with his wife and if he were to talk about it, you would lash him; and if he killed, you would kill him, and if he were to keep quiet, he would consume his anger. Thereupon he (the Prophet) said: Allah, solve (this problem), and he began to supplicate (before Him). Then the verses pertaining to li'an were revealed: "Those who accuse their wives and have no witness except themselves" (24:6). Then he and his wife came into the presence of Allah's Messenger Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and they invoked curses (in order to testify their claim). The man swore four times in the name of Allah that he was one of the truthful and then invoked a curse for the fifth time, saying: Let there be the curse of Allah upon him if he were among the liars. Then she began to invoke a curse. Allah's Messenger Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said to her: Just wait (and curse after considering it), but she refused and invoked a curse. When she turned away, he (Allah's Apostle) said: It seems that this woman shall give birth to a curly-haired black child. And so she did give birth to a curly-haired black child.
Adultery Committed by the Insane
Hadith - Abu Dawood #4388, Narrated Ali ibn Abu Talib
AbuZubyan said: A woman who had committed adultery was brought to Umar. He gave orders that she should be stoned. Ali passed by just then. He seized her and let her go. Umar was informed of it. He said: Ask Ali to come to me. Ali came to him and said: Commander of the Faithful, you know that the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: There are three (people) whose actions are not recorded: A boy till he reaches puberty, a sleeper till he awakes, a lunatic till he is restored to reason. This is an idiot (mad) woman belonging to the family of so and so. Someone might have done this action with her when she suffered the fit of lunacy. Umar said: I do not know. Ali said: I do not know.

Torah Punishment for Adultery
is Stoning to Death
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 6.79, Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar
The Jews brought to the Prophet a man and a woman from among them who had committed illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet said to them, "How do you usually punish the one amongst you who has committed illegal sexual intercourse?" They replied, "We blacken their faces with coal and beat them." He said, "Don't you find the order of Ar-Rajm (i.e. stoning to death) in the Torah?" They replied, "We do not find anything in it." 'Abdullah bin Salam (after hearing this conversation) said to them, "You have told a lie! Bring here the Torah and recite it if you are truthful." (So the Jews brought the Torah). And the religious teacher who was teaching it to them, put his hand over the Verse of Ar-Rajm and started reading what was written above and below the place hidden with his hand, but he did not read the Verse of Ar-Rajm. 'Abdullah bin Salam removed his (i.e. the teacher's) hand from the Verse of Ar-Rajm and said, "What is this?" So when the Jews saw that Verse, they said, "This is the Verse of Ar-Rajm." So the Prophet ordered the two adulterers to be stoned to death, and they were stoned to death near the place where biers used to be placed near the Mosque. I saw her companion (i.e. the adulterer) bowing over her so as to protect her from the stones.

Patience

A'uzu billahi minashaitanir rajim
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

allahumma salli ala sayyidina muhammadin wa'ala

sayyidina muhammadin wa barik wasalim

Assalamu alai kum warah matula he wabar katuhu

Patience is all what a mu'meen(people with iman) should have. When we are talking about patience, the first person that comes into pour mind is shahenshah-e-karbala,Imam Hussain a.s.During the war, it came a situation where it remained only Abdullah Ali al-Asghar ibn Husayn who was 6months old, who was thirsty for 3 days and who was the youngest child of Imam Hussein. The latter went to Yazid's army and ask them to let the child have some water and told the army what this innocent child has done. Spare the child. unfortunately, Hurmala who was in yazid's army shot an arrow that pierced the child's neck and also wounded Imam Hussein's arm. At this time, any person would have lost patience. History proved that Imam Hussein didnot. He was fighting for truth, for the preservation of islam, For us. there are many lessons to be retained during the fight of karbala.Sabr(patience). Then, we should always support haqq(truth)and to which we can go to any extent.hum sarr hatta dege juka nahin dege.(for truth, we will get killed, but we will not bow). The third lesson is that we must be ready to qurban(sacrifice) everything for the sake of Allah, Muhammad s.a.w and his family and Islam.

Here are some Quran sayings about patience:

 In surah baqara, allah says'

Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,

In Surah Muhammad (47: 31) , Allah reiterates that we will be tested:
And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle).

If one is patient, and is among the ones described in the following manner in the Qur’an (Baqarah, 2: 256)

Rewards of Patience
1.  Blessings from Allah.  The patient person is blessed by Allah (S.W.T.)
2. Mercy of Allah.  When Allah (S.W.T.) gives someone His Mercy,  He will let him enter paradise with His Mercy.
3. Guidance of Allah.  A patient person will be guided by Allah (S.W.T.) in this world until he meets Him on the Day of Judgment.
Referring to those who are tested and endure with sabr or patience (2:155-156, see above), all of the above three rewards are mentioned by Allah Himself in the Qur’an in Surah Baqarah (2: 157):
“They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.”

In Surah Hud (11:11), Allah (S.W.T.) again promises to reward those who are patient in adversity:
Not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward

life is about patience and patience is life. Allah himself will decide the right time to give us what we like. As the famous panacea conveys

صبر کا پھل میٹھا ہے

the reward of patience is very sweet. We must not complain to ALLAH.

La llaha illa Allah Muhammadar Rasul Allah s.a.w

When Nabi-e-Kareem s.a.w was performing his last hajj, he addressed to all mu'meen. he said that he is leaving 2 great things behind, the first being the holy quran and the second the Ahlul-Bayt. Ahlul-Bayt refers to the family of  Mohammad s.a.w. it is one of the two most precious Symbols of Islam after His departure. He reminded us to stick to these two weighty things (al-Thaqalain), namely Quran and Ahlul-Bayt, in order not to go astray after him.
The Messenger of Allah also informed us that these two are non-separable and are with each other till the day of Judgment. This requires us that for understanding the interpretation of Quran and the Sunnah of  Mohammad s.a.w. we should refer to those who are attached to it, namely Ahlul-Bayt.
Knowing exactly who Ahlul-Bayt are, thus becomes a very vital matter when one considers the above tradition of the Prophet mohammad s.a.w. as well as many other traditions which unequivocally state that adherence to Ahlul-Bayt is the only way of salvation. This clearly implies that the one who follows a wrong set of Ahlul-Bayt (!!), will be led astray.

Most Sunnis are in the opinion that the Ahlul-Bayt of  Nabi-e-Kareem s.a.w are:
  • Fatimah al-Zahra (R.A) (the daughter of the Messenger of Allah),
  • Imam Ali (R.A),
  • Imam al-Hasan (R.A),
  • Imam al-Husain (R.A),
  • Wives of the Rasoullullah s.a.w
Mohammad s.a.w said that not accepting the Ahlul-Bayt, holding any enmities against them, not believing in them, meant not believing in me(Mohammad s.a.w). this, as a result does not complete our iman. when we will leave this world, only our iman will remain.
Everyday we should pray to allah ta'ala, to preserve our iman and to strengthen it.
Iman hai to sab kuch hai.
Ameen.

Things that you should know about Muharam

Muharram is the first month of the islamic calendar . It is one of the four sacred months of the year in which fighting is prohibited. Muharram is one of four months that have been designated as holy according to the Islamic calendar, the other three being - Dhul-Qa'adah, Dhul-Hijjah and Rajab. The tenth day of Muharram is called Yaumu-l 'Ashurah

Fasting in the month of Muharram
The Prophet  have said: "The best fasts after the fasts of Ramadan are those of the month of Muharram." Although the fasts of the month of Muharram are not obligatory, yet one who fasts in these days out of his own will is entitled to a great reward by Allah Almighty. Fasting on the tenth day of Muharram, called Ashura, is particularly important, as it supposed to lead to great rewards. A person does not have to fast for the whole month. On the contrary, each fast during this month has merit.

Sunni Muslims  fast during Muharram for the first 10 days of Muharram, just the tenth day or on both the ninth and tenth days; the exact term depending on the individual.

Here are some activities that are recommended for the day of Ashurah:
1. To observe fast on this day.
2. To give as much charity as you can afford.
3. To perform Nafl Salat prayers.
4. To recite Surah Ikhlas 1000 times.
5. To visit and be in the company of pious Ulema.
6. To place a hand of affection on an orphan's head.
7. To give generously to one's relatives.
8. To put surma in one's eyes.
9. To take a bath.
10. To cut one's nails.
11. To visit the sick.
12. To establish friendly ties with one's enemies.
13. To recite Dua-e- Ashurah
14. To visit the shrines of Awliyas and the graves of Muslims.

Events associated with the month of Muharram
The month of Muharram is also associated with many auspicious events in Islamic history. Allah  have created the heavens and the earth on this blessed day.
On this day He give His infinite blessings and bounties to many of His Prophets and delivered them from the clutches of their enemies.

Allah created Hazrat Adam in this month and pardoned him of his mistake.

Hazrat Noah's Ark landed successfully on Mount Judi during this time centuries ago.

Hazrat Ibrahim was saved from fire.

Hazrat Musa was rescued from from the Pharaoh during the month of Muharram.

The tenth day of Muharram or Ashura is of supreme importance as imam Hussain, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad died.

Death of imam hussain
In the month of Muharram many centuries ago, (approximately October 20th 680 A.D.), an event took place in Iraq at a place known as Kerbala on the bank of the river Euphrates.
A large army, which had been mobilised by the Umayyad regime, besieged a group of persons numbering less than a hundred and put them under pressure to pay allegiance to the Caliph of the time and submit to his authority. The Caliph was a man much taken with earthly pleasures that deviated from the Islamic way of life. The small group resisted and a severe battle took placein which they were all killed. The leader of the small band of men who were martyred in Kerbala was none other than Imam Husain, the grandson of the Holy Prophet.
Imam Husain's martyrdom at Kerbala represents a conscious confrontation with anti-Islamic forces and a courageous resistance for a sacred cause. The tragedy was that the one who stood up to defend Islam was cut down in so cruel a manner. It is for this reason that the death of Imam Husain is mourned annually.

To all muslims:
Please do not let this opportunity go in vain. it's a month of great reward. Do maximum ibaadat, go to magalis, fast and do not fight. As we are all aware, its December. many people including  muslims tend to enjoy this month by buying fire crackers,..etc. All these enjoyments are not meant for us, muslims. Do enjoy, yeah but in ibaadats and praying. thats the greatest enjoyments of muslims. it is to be noted that Sunni muslims are forbidden to take part in  'goon'.

Mohammad s.a.w - messenger of Allah

Allah, my Rab, Mohammad s.a.w, my guide. He is named as the messenger of Allah and the teacher of mankind. He lived for 63 years only but in this 63 years, it seemed He had lived for 63 decades. what He has done for muslims is exceptional. He didnot fear anyone except Allah. He fought for islam. He had converted so much people into islam. Ey shahenshah-e- madina, assalatoo wasalam. His presence is still felt and will continue to be felt, even after we die. That's why we celebrate mi lad-un- nabi, to show how great He is, to pay Him respect and it represents a day of remembrance for a person who devoted all his lifetime for Allah, a day for ordinary person like us, to think whether we are true muslims or muslims by name, a day of celebrations, to celebrate the arrival of a special person on earth and a day of sadness, to lose such a kind of person. We must remember, it only due to Him that we got only 5 times of prayer, still people find it difficult. It is due to Him, that we got the Quran, still people do not find time to read a small paragraph.
allah testified that Mohammad s.a.w is His messenger "La llaha illa Allah Muhammadar Rasul Allah"-There is no god except Allah"  and "Muhammad(S.A.W.); but people still ignored that while others claimed they believed what has been said but actually not.

Every Muslims shall be like him, starting from his way of eating to his way of talking. not believing in Allah and his Messenger is a sin.

I am proud to be a muslim. i am proud to say Allah is with my lord and Mohammad s.a.w is my guide. i am honored to be born as a muslim, proud to follow islam.
Ameen.

Allah and forgiveness

Have you ever wondered why we start our prayer with “Allahu Akbar”?

“Allahu Akbar” is the key phrase because with it we affirm that Allah, before Whom we are about to stand, is greater than anything occupying us at that moment.
He is greater than our job, greater than our business, greater than our sleep, our bills, our family and our children, greater than all that troubles or preoccupies us.

Have you ever wondered why when we make duahs we praise Allah first?
It is because He is MALIK and KARIM. He will accept our duahs.
Have you ever wondered why we see miracles of Allah?
It is due to the fact that he is present and constantly telling us" i am the only one to be prayed.
Narrated Narated By Mu'adh bin Jabal :
The Prophet said, "O Mu'adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?"
I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in
worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?"

I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)."

Have you noticed that when we neglect salah, we get dreams from Allah, trying to show us what to do.

Have you ever noticed that when we are in difficulties, the first thing that comes into our mind ALLAH.

Do you know why allah created jannat?
It is for us. Good deeds in this world, will be rewarded jannat in the Next world.

Do you know why allah created jahanam?
For non-believers of Allah and Mohammad s.a.w. For those who kept on commiting sins (betting, adultery, discos, etc..) and not asking for forgiveness and for those who continued to commit atrocities.

Allah is simply the greatest. allah akbar.
Fear Allah that you may be prosperous. Obey Allah and perhaps you may escape
from His punishment of which He has warned you and attain His reward which He has made you desire.
And fear the fire which He has prepared for the disbelievers, a resort for those who disbelieve Me.

O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of the evil one.

Spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute
to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good.

All of us have committed sins, whether big or small before it is not too late
Insha allah, our forgiveness will be accepted..
As you all know, one of the major signs of Qayamat will be that one day the sun will rise in the west.
when this happens, the door for forgiveness will be closed and when we will ask for forgiveness,
it will not be accepted.
Allah is Azim and Ghaffar.

Don't wait too much to ask for forgiveness.

Shaddad ibn Aws narrated that the Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] said;
"the most superior request for forgiveness is to say:

'Allaahmma anta rabbee laa elaaha illaa ant.
Anta khalaqtanee wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't.
A'oothu bika min sharri ma sana't. Aboo'u laka bi ni'matika alayya wa aboo'u laka bi thambee.
Faghfir lee. Fa innahoo laa yaghfiruth-thunooba illaa ant.'

[O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god besides You. You created me and I am Your servant,
following your covenant and [my] promise to you as much as I can.
I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have done. Before You I acknowledge Your blessings bestowed
upon me and I confess my sins to You.
So forgive me, for surely no one can forgive sins except You.]

The Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] then added, 'anyone who says this during the day, firmly believing in it,
and dies before the evening; or says it in the evening, firmly believing in it, and dies
before the following morning,
will be among the people of paradise.'
